Privacy Policy
Effective August 9, 2026
This policy describes how Stackera ("we") handles personal information collected through stackera.io. We collect as little as we can, use it only for the purpose you gave it to us, and never sell it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to share: your name, email address, and message, and optionally your phone number and organization. If you book a meeting with us, the scheduling details are handled by the Google Calendar appointment booking service.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your own browser and is never transmitted to us.
How we use it
We use the information you send us to respond to your inquiry, to schedule and prepare for meetings you request, and to maintain the security of our website. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Contact-form submissions are delivered to our team through the business tools we operate (such as our internal messaging and customer-relations systems). Our website is served by our hosting provider, which processes server logs on our behalf. We share personal information with no one else, except where the law requires it.
Where it is processed
Stackera operates from Toronto, Canada and Pune, India, and your information may be processed in either location. Wherever it is processed, it is protected by the safeguards described in this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle the conversation it belongs to and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, after which it is deleted. Server logs are retained on our hosting provider's standard rotation.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under Canada's PIPEDA, India's DPDP Act, and the EU/UK GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond within the timelines the applicable law sets.
Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted prominently on this page.
